Keep contact details private at first
Use Right Match messaging until you have spoken several times and feel confident. Share your number when you choose to — never because you are pressured.
Involve your family or wali
Bring a trusted family member into conversations early. Sincere people welcome this.
Never send money
No genuine match will ask for money, gifts, visa fees or “help with an emergency”. Report anyone who does.
Verify before you meet
Video call first. Check that the person matches their photos and profile.
Meet in public, tell someone
For a first meeting, choose a public place, arrange your own transport and let family know where you will be.
Report anything that feels wrong
Use Report on any profile or message. Our moderators review every report and can suspend accounts.
What we do
- Adults only: every member confirms they are 18 or older, and suspected minors are removed.
- Photo moderation before photos become visible, and optional ID verification reviewed by our team.
- Messaging only between mutual matches, with rate limits and automatic filtering of contact details in profile text.
- Blocking is instant and two-way. Reports go to a moderation queue with an audit trail.
An honest note about screenshots
No website can technically stop someone from photographing their screen or copying what they see. We limit what is shown and to whom, but please share only what you are comfortable with.
